The eyes are a doorway to the soul. Pandora and our earth are much alike in various aspects, connecting our reality to the fantastical world of the Na’vi. I share the love the Na’vi have for their world, for the flora and fauna of Pandora, with my own home. I grew up with nature and animals and this drawing is supposed to show the connection I feel by creating a portal to our world through the eye of a Na’vi. This clan, the first clan on earth, helped me define my love and gave me a home between two worlds, a portal one might say, between my beloved home and Pandora. It helped me see more clearly th connections around us all. This family is my second home.

In this piece Earth and Pandora are shown beside each other and are represented by some animals that live on the respective planets. They are the alternative forms of the other. The planet earth is shown as this is the place where AvatarArcticLife comes from. In the stars are costallations that show the star sign Scorpio, as this is my own star sign to sprinkle in a personal note and the Atokirina. In the middle are a Na'vi and a human handprint, held together by the Clan Mark to represent the unity of the two people and also the two worlds. Two Worlds, Two People, One Clan.

Ho cercato di rappresentare la nostra amata Terra come vicina agli stessi Na'vi e al loro modo di connettersi attraverso Pandora, di lasciarsi "coccolare" dai suoi colori e la sua vitalità, ma allo stesso modo di trasmettere calma e uno stato quasi meditativo nell'ascoltarne il suo battito, o il connettersi alla stessa frequenza e sentirne i possenti respiri emanati da essa. La visione dell'universo e le stelle a mio parere mettono molta tranquillità, spero possiate trovarne anche voi in questa mia interpretazione .

Being part of this clan has really helped me with a lot of my online anxiety and my journey to get back into doing art. This is my first big piece I've done in over a year and I'm really proud of how it came out. I'm grateful to everyone here for this chance and hope it represents the theme of Clan, Earth and Pandora well. I wanted to include some of Pandora's Flora and Fauna. The tree like plant is placed near Italy as it it is the clans origin place. The Atokirina' was placed on Greenland as a tie to the Arctic and Aurora which inspired the clans name. The Pa'li was placed on North America to represent my own personal connection to my indigenous roots and the significance of the horse to the Lakota tribe. The Clan mark was placed in the Ocean as water is the essential element to life and it connects us all together.

When we come together, we feel that connection, that warmth that the soul has always sought in the movies, in Pandora and her clans. We are a clan and we already live in Pandora, we just have to take care of it.

This piece is drawn to represent the love we should show our planet, the Navi touching earth showing our great mother respect and love, like we should be doing. Spider is a little nervous to touch his home planet but with the help of kiri he also shows his home planet love, a sign that with the help of others or surrounding yourself with people with the same mindset of love and respect, you can accomplish anything.

This here is the piece I made which was more of a hands on art. I wanted to try something different as well as something I've never done before. As you can see there is two halves of two planets. Earth and Pandora. Two planets which are both similar in their beauty and uniqueness. They are held together by the clan mark which brings both worlds together as one. There are two charms one of a Human and one of a Na'vi, both on the opposite planet. They represent two different yet similar people coming together.

This clan is the first clan on earth and earth is also where Jake Sully's story started. What came to my mind first was that the earth had to be at the center of my work, just as much as Jake. The clan mark in the globe represents all the clan members from all around the world, joining together in their love and appreciation for the world of Avatar.
